Our founder and CEO, Darrien K. Robinson, spent eight months living on the streets of San Antonio, Texas, sleeping in people’s backyard and finding food in their trash cans, before he was able to start the process of turning his life around. Darrien brings 20 plus years of customer service to the RuthHaze Foundation. He has made it his mission to give back to those who are less fortunate than others.
In 2017, Darrien Robinson moved back to Fort Smith and after speaking with his mother about what he faced in Texas, RuthHaze was formed. He remembers when he was a child his grandmother, Ruth Mumphrey, would wake up in the middle of the night just to feed someone who was in need. He wanted to pay homage to her memory and formed RuthHaze.
Darrien is also the owner of Power Move Imaging and MidSouthWest Talent Competition INC. Darrien believes that every man, no matter how rich or poor, should find some way, to help his fellow mankind. Darrien is the proud father of four boys and he is teaching them the importance of giving of themselves. In his spare time, Darrien loves learning, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
